Welcome to our community’s website. Building a better community starts with you, our residents, and so we, the Borough of Waterford Council invite you to volunteer and engage in local government and community organization activities, express your interests, values and ideas for the direction of our community.

The Borough of Waterford is a small community of approximately 1,500 people and has a total area of 1.2 square miles. Lake LeBoeuf lies immediately adjacent to the borough. Waterford is located just outside of Erie, Pennsylvania.

Though small, we have a number of clubs and organizations. The Fort LeBoeuf American Legion Post #285,  Lion’s and Lioness’ Clubs, Waterford Garden Club, Stancliff Hose Company, Fort LeBoeuf Historical Society, Kiwanis Club of Fort LeBoeuf, Scouts and 4-H are a few. We have a great variety of local businesses either right in town or just outside of our borders. We are sure you will find what you need in or very near Waterford.

Among these businesses are several fine restaurants and taverns, unique shops, antique shops, a florist, a grocery store, hardware stores, an auto dealership, dental offices, chiropractor offices, veterinarians and a pharmacy.
